Hyderabad haunting!
Had been to Hyderabad this weekend. It was great to meet old friends again! I started my journey from Koramangala on Friday the 14th. The bus took me all around Bangalore before it actually left for Hyderabad. We finally left the city at around 11 PM. After a tiring journey, I got down at Lakdi Ka Pul around 9 AM. I then took an auto to JNTU, Kukatpally where I was greeted by my brother. Satish Cheekala shortly arrived and we went to my brother’s favourite mess for breakfast. I have a great liking for such canteens particularly Andhra ones and was not surprised when they served 5 idlis for 10 bucks.
Also met Punnaih,Satya and Ravikiran there. After tea, gossip and coconut water, I left for my brothers place to get ready. I met with my brothers flatmates and got ready. Satish and Sonmit arrived and we left for Hussain Sagar lake. After spending time at the ‘Eat Street’, we decided to go to Charminar. I have always wanted to visit Charminar and this was the opportunity. But reaching Charminar is such a pain and the traffic is horrible. After a visit, we decided to meet Jhaji. We reached Himayath Nagar and met Jhaji at his office. Jhaji invited us to his house and we met Jhaji’s kid, Mansi. After gobbling pakoras, we decided to go for a movie. We then went to a restaurent and watched Golmal Returns. I went to my bro’s flat exhausted and after some chichat with Shailesh, I went to sleep.
Got up early the next day and left for Kondapur. Met Natasha at the Barista and we went to Khokars place. Met Khokar there and came back to Barista to meet Aparajita, who is getting married on Dec 6th. Natasha left me at my bro’s place and we left from there to meet Satish and Sonmit again.
I left Hyd at 8 PM and reached Bangalore today at 11 AM.
I know, nobody calls this a microblog entry. But this is what I can manage now.
Overall, I came back happy and refreshed. Its always fun to meet people from Engineering days! Isnt it?
