Satish Cheekala arrives
Satish Cheekala has come down for the weeked to Bangalore from Hyderabad and we are all having fun. Me, Dipu,KT,Cheeki and Jassi met for lunch yesterday at Aaranya. Had a great time joking and Satish tells me that there are beautiful girls in Microsoft Hyd. Thats cool and hes having a good time there.
I started from office and reached D,K,J’s luxurious apartment. Bakar sessions started and we finally went to the new Purple Haze that has opened in Marathhalli. After having fun there, we met Amar just outside Innovative Multiplex. Amar was watching RGV’s new movie and he tells me he really felt scared. Then had wonderful Egg Dosas in a roadside eatery. Took a cab home at Rs 10 a person and bakar continued. It was the Olympics this time and we discussed Carl Lewis, Alexander Popov and a lot more of our great heros. One particular incident I remembered was Gary Hall Jr’s antics before each race. I’ve loved the character although he’s never had a good time in the pool when Popov was around. Phelps would have found it difficult in that era I guess
