I have been watching a lot of good movies these days. Movies that you associate with great concepts. Movies that will not render you to LOL, but will make you think. Or possibly called “Parallel Cinema” Well, I decided to take a break from this. The best possible way to do that, watch a Vijay starrer tamil movie. I watched “Azhagiya Tamil Magan” starring Vijay and Shreya. The movie is supposedly a copy of the 1990 Mamooty starrer ‘Iyer the Great’. But ATM is dull and not exciting. Vijay does his ususal gimmicks and the villian (who is again Vijay) turns into a good man in the end. One scene I particularly remember about Iyer the Great is the train accident. A kid plays with a duck ( the key winding one) and after the accident this duck swims in the water. I particularly dont remember if the stories were same.
