I finished reading ‘The Kite Runner’. Sat throught the book dazed in horror of the plunders that happened in Afghanistan. Read through Wikipedia at times about Taliban and the rest. I would say, The Kite Runner is a bold story and except for the chapter when Sohrab is in hospital, every sentence captured my imagination. I can now visualize the beautiful Kabul of the past and Kabul at the time of Taliban. I would love to visit Afghanistan one day.
