The trek - 22 June 2008

We trekked all the way downhill. I took little Shaswath on my shoulders. His dad was busy helping his mom and you know we are masters of volunteership. We volunteered to take him, Kalyan having to do the tough part of climbing uphill. Makes sense, I am overweight and he aspires to be Arnold. He reads the encyclopedia of bodybuilding by Arnold Swazz***er and hits the gym two times a day apart from the 1 hour jog early morning.

So we went along, the three of us leading the pack all the time. Driver Ravikumar used to make surprise appearances. He knows all the shortcuts and disseppears once in a while for his favourite “Charms” cigarette.

We saw a few places. Dolphins Nose, the Echo Rock, some waterfalls, etc. After we trudged uphill, it was time for rest and we did rest.

We got back to the hotel. Had dinner at Suvai. Suvai, I would say has good veg food, is cheap and has fast service. Kalyan ran off to get some chicken. It seems, he cannot do without Chicken on Sundays.
