Kodai - Madurai
Have been off tumblr for 2 days. The reason - I was on a trip to Kodai and Madurai.
Me and Kalyan headed off to Kodai on Sat evening. Including tidbits of information. There are 2 buses from Majestic to Kodaikanal. One at 8:30 and the other at 9:15. The charge is Rs 286 and it takes 12 hours to reach Kodai.
We took the 9:15 one which is a better bus. As we have a habit of mixing with everyone we meet, we sat down with the bus conductor for a while. Fortunately he was Telugu and quickly Kalyan and him were chums. We got good seats ( Seats 9,10) and reached Kodai at around 9 the next day.
We settled down at Hotel Hamidia ( Rs 500 per room on twin sharing basis with a small TV). We did some walking in the Bazaar and was ready for some sightseeing.
